Tonight I will host a Tuscaloosa-are town hall meeting at the Jerry Belk Activity Center. The forum will begin at 7:00 PM and will include other Republican candidates from Tuscaloosa County running for state and local offices. The Jerry Belk Center is located at 2101 Bowers Park Drive.
In addition to providing a platform for all of our local candidates, I will provide a sneak peak of my first television ads. The first ad will run tomorrow morning during Good Morning America at 7:00 AM.
I will also continue to discuss my jobs agenda for “Putting Alabamians Back to Work“ and my Reemployment Act of 2010 which passed the Alabama House unanimously. The Legislative Fiscal Office (LFO) estimates will put at least 5000 Alabamians back to work by providing incentives to businesses to hire unemployed Alabamians. The LFO also estimates this bill will save the state money because the individuals put back to work will pay income taxes and stop receiving state benefits.
I hope all Republicans in Tuscaloosa County will be able to make it.
