TUSCALOOSA -Today’s Dresner-Wickers poll showing Dr. Bentley statistically tied with Roy Moore for second place is just the latest sign of growing grassroots support and momentum for Dr. Bentley’s campaign. Last week, the PPP poll showed Dr. Bentley tied with Kay Ivey for third place before she left the race to run for Lieutenant Governor, trailing only Bradley Byrne and Roy Moore. In fact, every poll released in the past month has shown upward movement. The Dresner-Wickers poll is the first poll released since State Treasurer Kay Ivey switched her primary campaign from the gubernatorial to Lieutenant Governor’s race. Read the poll here.

We are in Northern Tuscaloosa Co and there is a lot of support for Dr Bentley. My daughter is a Junior in high school and the kids talk alot of politics and current event. Tim James is not well liked and Bradley Byrne- no comments about him at all (sort of an unknown)- It is my hope that Dr Bentley is going to wait out the mud slinging and be able to advertise really heavily and come out as a breath of fresh air right before the primary.
