DR. BENTLEY'S STANDING ROOM ONLY TUSCALOOSA TOWNHALL MEETING

TUSCALOOSA -Tonight's Tuscaloosa townhall meeting featured Tuscaloosa County Republican candidates for State Representative, State Senator and State Commissioner of Agriculture and Industry.  The candidates spoke briefly before townhall attendees and supporters of the various campaigns as to why each believed they are the best candidate for the respective position for which they are running. All candidates were upbeat and positive and refrained from attacking their primary rivals, and expressed appreciation to Dr. Bentley for hosting this party building event for the Tuscaloosa County Republican Party.

Dr. Bentley then took the stage, bringing the enthusiastic standing room only crowd to their feet. He reiterated his pledge that as governor, he will not take a salary until Alabama returns to full employment.  Following his remarks, the Bentley campaign screened two television ads, the first of which goes up on Good America at 6:00 AM on Friday March 5, 2010.  It can be viewed at Http://bit.ly/RJBWork

After the audience's enthusiastic response to Dr. Bentley's campaign commercials, Campaign Manager David A. Ferguson predicted, "the game has changed."
