DR. BENTLEY RELEASES HIS SECOND TELEVISION AD "ONE CANDIDATE"

TUSCALOOSA - On Wednesday, March 10, 2010, Dr. Robert J. Bentley, Republican candidate for Governor, will launch the second political ad of his campaign for Governor, called "One Candidate."

"One Candidate" differentiates Dr. Bentley from other candidates by emphasizing Dr. Bentley's experience using government policy to create jobs, such as House passage of the Reemployment Act of 2010.  The ad also reiterates Dr. Bentley's pledge not to take a salary as Governor until Alabama reaches full employment.  "One Candidate' is available for viewing on YouTube at: http:/./bit.ly/One_Candidate_Ad.

Like his last ad, Bob Wickers of Dresner, Wickers & Associates produced Dr. Bentley's new ad in his role as media consultant.  The Wall Street Journal called Bob Wickers the "Spirit Behind Huckabee's Advertising Approach" - an approach that helped propel Mike Huckabee to victories in the first-in-the-nation Iowa Caucuses, and in several other critical state primaries.

Dr. Bentley said, "Bob's experience working for Governor Huckabee's Presidential campaign and advising other successful come-from-behind candidates makes me confident in our team.  I am very pleased with both advertisements he has produced for us."

About Dr. Bentley

Dr. Robert J. Bentley is running for Governor to grow the economy and create jobs without increasing taxes or spending. He is pro-life, pro-marriage, and pro-second amendment, and believes in smaller, more limited government with more transparency and accountability. He is best known as a successful small businessman who managed the growth of Alabama Dermatology Associates into the largest practice of its type in the Southeast.  His peers also selected him as one of the "Best Doctors in America."

In 2002, he won election to the Alabama House of Representatives from Tuscaloosa County with almost 65% of the vote.  In 2008, he won election as a Delegate for Gov. Mike Huckabee to the Republican National Convention (RNC), where he served on the RNC Platform Committee.

On December 7, 2009 he officially released his plan for "Putting Alabamians Back to Work."  He has pledged not to accept a salary as Governor until Alabama reaches full employment.
